I'm researching one of my family lines, GREER, and I am very close to
believing that my gg grandparents, and their parents, were from Allen
County.

I still need to confirm my theory by going through the 1860 Census for
Allen County which, if I am correct, should yield a family made up of
William H. Greer, wife Elizabeth, and son Thomas J. Greer, born aby
1854.

I believe that my gg grandparents were the William H Greer and Elizabeth
Vanwey who married in Allen County on July 4, 1852 but still need to get
a few more supporting facts.

If anyone has an index into the 1860 census records for Allen County I
would appreciate a pointer to the appropriate census sheet. I'll try
to gain access to the microfilm for 1860 Allen County this coming week.

Any assistance will be most appreciated.
