Daniel Myers was born in 1817, moved to Knox Co., Ohio around 1840s. In 1843 he married Sarah Keigley [1818-1852] in Knox Co. in 1843. 6 children resulted from this union, then Sarah died. Next, Daniel Myers married Barbara A. King, in Knox Co., Ohio in 1855. Sometime in 1860 or 186l Daniel moved to Allen Co., Ohio. He joined the O.V.I. for 10 months, then came home to farm his land and raise 6 more children by Barbara. Barbara died in childbirth of twins, their last two issues. Next, Daniel married Mary Ann Bowers in Allen Co. Ohio. She and Daniel raised the children, 11 of which lived to adulthood and married. The 2nd issue of Daniel and Sarah Keigley Myers was Mary Jane Myers, who married William James McClintock, my Gt Gd-parents.
Seeking any information on Daniel Myers, especially where he was born, [perhaps in Penn., N.J. or possibly in Ohio] and especially who his parents might be. Having had 12 children, one would think that someone has traced this individual who lived and farmed for over 30 years in Allen Co., Ohio. Please reply directly to .
