I am looking for the father of Henry Richard Davies. His mother was Elizabeth George(maiden) who later married an Evans. They had a son, D.S. Evans.
The father of Henry Richard is named Robert Davies but there is no record of what happend to him. Henry was born Aug 8, 1851 in Gomer and in 1865 left with his mother's brother, Uncle Tom George, for Fairbury, Illinois. I have checked the Ohio Civil War roster for Robert Davies and found nothing. The death cert of Henry Richard says his father is from Wales.
