In Nathaniel McClure's account of Samuel McClure's history (Historical Atlas
of Allen County Ohio 1880) he wrote that Samuel many times made metheglin
(metheglyn, or mead) from the honey of local bees. I'm curious if anyone has
a local recipie or even a McClure family recipie if one exists.
