Paralysis Results in Death of Mrs. Crawford
Illness from paralysis of six weeks’ duration culminated at 6:15 pm Saturday in the death of Mrs. Cynthia A. Crawford, 70, wife of J. W. Crawford, at 1338 S. Central-av.
Deceased was born in Delaware-co, February 22, 1852. Survived by her husband, five sons, Frank A., Carl and E. M. Crawford, Lima; Charles of Winchester, Indiana and William of Detroit; one sister, Mrs. D. J. Deer, and two brothers, Edward and Cyrus Hatch, of Kenton.
Funeral services at the residence Monday at 2 pm in the charge of Rev. E. T. Bowdle. Burial in Shawnee cemetery.

Civil War Veteran is Dead; Burial Wednesday
James W. Crawford, 79, died Monday morning at the home of his son, Frank Crawford, in Bath-tp. Death was caused from a complication of diseases after an illness of one year.
Crawford was born in Licking-co, Ohio, May 11, 1845 and served in Co. 5 [or S], 99th Regiment and Co. F, 5th Regiment, O.V.I. He leaves five sons, Frank, at whose home he died; Charles, Winchester, Indiana; Will, of Detroit; E. M. of Toledo; and Carl, of Lima.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 pm Wednesday at the residence in charge of Rev. Wingert. Burial will be in Shawnee cemetery.
