Richard T. DAVIS, of 1012 north West street, is much improved after an
attack of la grippe.
Fire chief MACK responded to a call last night from the home of C.F.
RAILING, of 445 south Pine street. Sparks from a cigar ignited clothing in a
closet and caused $100 damage before being extinguished by the use of
chemicals.
Mr. and Mrs. Carl ROWLANDS of 848 west North street, are the parents of a
son, born into their home yesterday.
Mr. and Mrs. howard BROWN of 238 north Cole street, are the parents of a
seven-pound son, born into their home today. Mrs. BROWN was, before her
marriage Miss Helen STAUP. This is the first child born into the family.
