I believe that Ora ( Ola?) Herring knew my family she was a member of the
Eagles Lodge Arie 342 in downtown Lima.( ? ) where my parents Floyd and
Margaret Goldsmith Shepherd , were member from the 1940 till they passed
away. I always thought they called her Ollie Herring , but my mind may not
be as sharp as it was. I think Miss Ola was retired by then. She had a
raspy voice and had a great sense of humor. She was one of my mother's
favorite people. Just a little side info and memories of someone who knew
her was I was a child. Hope this helps give her a more human view besides
dates and cold paper docouments.

Norita,

Was she a teacher?
