Lima-
Miss Ethel WILLIAMS, daughter of Mrs. John WILLIAMS, 847 E Market-st, was
removed from St. Rita's hospital to the home of her oarents Saturday in the
City Undertaking company's ambulance.
Miss WILLIAMS made an unsuccessful attempt to end her life two weeks ago by
shooting a bullet thru her head, when she feared her failing eyesight would
cause blindness.
Miss WILLIAMS is totally blind from the shot, both organs of sight having
been removed at the hospital. The bullet passed thru the head landing in a
door jamb.
Lima-
Frank KAGAN 17, member of this year's graduating class of Central High
school, was instantly killed when struck by an automobile in Chicago
Wednesday, according to information received here from his brother, Julius
KAGAN.
The driver of the car whick struck young KAGAN, a man named KILTRIDGE has
been by a corornor's jury for murder in the first degree, it was learned and
held to the Cook-co grand jury under $35,000 bond.
KAGAN had only been in Chicago about two weeks, having left here shortly
after the close of the school year. While in Lima he resided at 781 N.
Metcalf-st.
Lima-
Funeral services for Clem J. DUCKRO, Ohio Electric lineman, electrocuted
Friday when he came in touch with a high tension wire at Robb-ave power
house, will be held Monday at 10 o'clock at his late home, 725 S.
Metcalf-st.
Rev. C.P. HOFFMAN, pastor of Grace M.E. church, will officiate. Interment
will be in Woodlawn. Employes of the Ohio Electric, as many as can be spared
from their duties will attend. They provided a hansome couch of flowers as a
token of esteem.
Lima-
David KIDD 39, was arrested Saturday evening in the L.E. & W. yards, charged
with train riding. He is being held in the city prison.
Lima-
The grand & glorious Fourt will be celebrated in happy fashion by seven
couples who will embark upon the sea of matrimony.
Young and older persons presented themselves at the marriage license counter
Saturday to secure the covented permits. All said they would be married in
time to celebrate the Fourth.

as follows:

24, Lima.
Charles R. LOGAN, 31, machinist, 1315 Greenlawn-ave, and Anna C. LAYMAN, 21,
Domestic, Allen-co.
George L. McDORMAN, 21, machinist, 225 North Shore Drive and Esther M.
GILROY, 19, clerk, 829 E. Second-st.
Charles W. BIERMAN, 45, electrician, Lorain, and Mary Martha ACKERMAN, 44,
nurse, 90- E. Eureka-st.
Licenses were issued late Friday afternoon to the following;
Thomas M. COLHOWER, 46, machinist, and Louvica M. GORDIN, 35, housekeeper,
both at 112 N. Central-ave.
Willard L. WINGATE, 22, craneman, 865 E High-st. and Lottie M. FRISBIE, 20,
seamstress, 907 N. Broadway.
Clarence F. HOUX, 23, cigar-maker, 656 N. Jackson-st and Bertha C. MURRAY,
23, butter-wrapper, 333 1/2 N. Main-st.
Floyd CONRAD, 20, craneman, 1134 E. High-st and Pauline D. STOMBAUGH, 17,
clerk, 424 S. Baxter-st.
