I am interested in obtaining information about the parentage of Joseph
Karns born 1 Mar 1790 in PA, died 12 Jun 1865, Lake Twp, Ashland Co. Oh,
and his wife Susannah_______, born 26 Mar 1788 in PA, died 26 Oct 1852 Lake
Twp, Ashland Co, OH. The daughter of Joseph and Susannah, Jane Karns,
married James Goudy. Her sister Rebecca married John Boyd. I have copies
of the Civil War letters what were exchanged between the cousins.
I am also interested in exchanging information with descendants of the
William Goudy family of Ashland County, Ohio. This is the William Goudy
who built the mill at Jeromeville. Karin Goudy
