Sherry,
Thank you for the information about the book. Another lead to track down.

Might the book talk about the "Underground Railway"? The old Paxton
farmhouse, in Savannah, was one of the stops and I am also trying to research
this.

Would you know where to get a copy of the book "Old Keys, an historical
sketch of Clear Creek Twp., Ashland Co., OH and of Savannah, the township's
only village" by Rae Bailey? How many pages is it?

Would anyone know if the Ashland Historical Society might have a copy?

Would you mind looking up some names for me -- students at Savannah Academy?
Lloyd S. Paxton, Andrew Howard Paxton, Rebecca Estella Paxton and I have Mary
Anna Paxton (graduated in 1902, the youngest, whom I have some information
about). The last 3 went by their middle names. I would be interested in any
information you can fine.

Lloyd was my Grandfather. I know he went to college, but I have no idea
where.

It is interesting to find out that your 2nd great grandfather helped build
the Academy. When I get there I will look for the roadside park and the
plaque you mentioned.

Thank you. Sue
