Hi Mark,
Next time I go to Ashland, I will look. I have been waiting for the gal in
the court house to do some copying for me, so I will be in there sometime
this next week. Richland County has a very good set up for look ups in
birth, death and marriage at the Health Dept. So I will try there also.

Maybe you can fill in some blanks for me, maybe not. I am descendant
from Conrad Koder and Julianna Harbaugh, they were married in 1798 in PA
but came to Ashland/Richland Co area in the early 1800's.
1)
I found mention of a Julia Kodir posted on internet cemetery list but
am not sure if this is the correct Julia or not.

2)I am descendant through John Koder and a Jemima H. ____? , they would
likely married abt 1836 in either Ashland or Richland Co. Any idea on
what date and what Jemima's maiden name may have been?

3) Also John Koder raised Thomas Favourite who later married Almira Koder
John's daughter. Thomas was the son of John Favourite and Rebecca Esbrig.

Rebecca died abt 1841/42 likely in Ashland/Richland county. Any cemetery,
death record for her??? or any other FAVORITE's in the area.

I have attached a short Koder history below, thank for any info you may
be able to find for either KODER, FAVORITE or thier wife's family.
I would also like to figure out from which HARBAUGH family Julianna
belonged. I wonder if other Harbaughs that may have been related to her
moved to this area???

Generation No. 1

1. Conrad V8 Koder (Conrad IV7, Conrad III6, Conrad II5, Conrad I4,
Georg3, Georg2, Michael1) was born September 27, 1773 in Bucks,
Pennsylvania, and died October 15, 1858 in Swanton,OH is buried in Dutch
Ridge Cemetery. He married (1) Catherine 1796. He married (2) Julianna
Harbaugh 1798.

Found this cemetery listing posted on the internet:
ASHLAND COUNTY OHIO - ECKLEY Cemetery in Vermillion Township
KODIR - Julia w/o ........ died 1836 age 61y.
Since Julianna is not buried with Conrad in Fulton County I assume she must
have died before the family moved here from Ashland County. This Julia death
age and place fit and is likley Conrad's wife.

Notes for John H. Koder:
Thomas Favorite was only five years old when his mother, Rebecca (Esbrig)
Favorite died in 1842 and Henry Koder who was living in the community
raised Thomas Favorite to maturity.

10viii.Conrad VI Koder, born 1812. He married Catherine Myers April 05,
1838 in Richland Co. OH.
