I am looking for information on HIRAM CARR, born in Columbiana
County,Ohio, and the surnames HYSELL, HAMPTON, COBURN, LONGCORE,
CHAMBERLIN, ROOD, THOMPSON, GORBY, POST, and RAYBURN.

Hiram shows up 1850 in Gallia County census, 1860 and 1870 in Meigs
County, Ohio. They all moved to Michigan in the 1870's with a lot of
others from this area. I saw a home page showing a HIRAM CARR b. Feb.
17, 1825 with a JOHN CARR (Kerr) b. Oct. 3, 1793, ANNE CARR (Kerr) b.
Dec 19, 1815, JAMES CARR b. Dec. 2, 1817, ELIZABETH CARR b. Dec 14,
1819, CYNTHIA CARR b. Sept. 9, 1822, and MARY CARR b. Oct. 9, 1830. I
don't know if this is the same family or not. I would like to know if
this is his family or not, or who his mother/father/siblings are. ANY
INFORMATION would be greatly appreciated. ggg grandfather.

1. HIRAM C. CARR was born February 17, 1825 in Columbia County, Ohio,
and died August 9, 1902 in Kent County, Tyrone Township, Michigan. He
married CATHERINE M. CHAMBERLIN April 6, 1843 in Columbiana County,
Ohio.

Notes for CATHERINE M. CHAMBERLIN:
Marriage lic. shows Chamber for maiden name. Moved to Ohio from
Maysville Ky. where she received her education.

19, 1936, Kent County, Kent City, Michigan; m. HARMON COBURN, April 28,
1872, Meigs County, Salem Township, Salem Center, Ohio.
