Hi,
I just found out that my gggrandfather, John A. PHILLIPS b.c. 1832, was
likely born in Athens. His brother, Isreal b.c. 1837, reportedly stated
on his military discharge that he was born in Athens. I believe their
father was Robert H. PHILLIPS b.c. 1813.
I would greatly appreciate any information anyone may have.
