I am seeking information on JAMES BRUCE of Nelsonville, Athens Co. Ohio. He
was born in England around 1820 and died in Athens Co. on 11/25/1881. He
married ELIZABETH WOODS of Perry Co. OH. They had at least three children,
all born in Athens Co; DAVID, born in 1854 (my g-grandfather); MARY, born
about 1861; and Benjamin, born 1863 died 1949. I have James' death record and
and his
listing in the 1880 census. I'm hoping to learn when he came to America,
where he is buried and any other information about his parents, siblings and
children (other than David).
