I thought at first of replying directly to the sender, hgbrooks, but then
decided
that it might be informative to send the below info to the list in general.

There is no bill in congress to do anything of the sort mentioned, 5-cent
charge per e-mail, or any other amount.
If, in the future you will check the following site before forwarding this
sort of thing, it will save a lot of people, on a lot of lists, a great deal
of time and aggravation.

There are several other sites that deal with all of the Urban legends and
other hoaxes that seem to regularly make the rounds. This is the 5th or
or 6th time around for this one in the last 3 years - probably more than that.
