In the births in Athens County Ohio 1867-1881 I have a Nettie Bell Smith
born 11/10/1875 in York Township, Athens County , Ohio . Parents are Jane
Fisk and William J. Smith Maybe William was William Johnson Smith, ( a
usual habit in child naming so his mother was most likely a Johnson?? Just a
thought. Also, Nelsonville is in York Twp.
Joe After reading the next post I looked up Lucius Fisk' marriage . His wife
was Tryphosa Lowery and they married in Athens Co Ohio 23 March 1848 and I
also found a birth date for Willie who is William Smith born 03/03/1878 to
William Smith and Elizabeth J Fisk in Nel., Ohio, Also found a Jane D Smith
child born 06/10/1870 in Nelsonville to William Smith and Jane Fisk.
