Well I believe I have found my Elizabeth Jane Fisk
death cert. at the Ohio death cert. web site.

Last year a cousin of my sent me some information from the family bible
listing Elizabeth Jane Smith Johnson.

On her daughters death cert., which I have,(Nettie Belle Smith Hawk)
it states her parents as John Smith and Jane Fish(K)

Through help from a lot of YOU we found them to be William John Smith
and Elizabeth Jane Fisk.

The death I found is for Jane E. Johnson (on the OH web site)
4-28-1930 Athens Co. The same date I have from the family bible (on the Hawk
family). So I'm sending away for it and if I'm lucky I'll get it before Xmas.

I need to check the 1860 Athens co., census records for William J. Smith
to see if I can find his parents.
