Good Morning,

I have recently discovered that some of my potential ancestors were listed
on various census' as "Mulatto". I did not find this disturbing, except for
the fact that we had been told all of our lives we were French/Black
Dutch/Indian. I also had been having lots of difficulty tracing most of my
LUCAS ancestors.

These people we located mostly in Appalachia, VA; WV: KY; TN;

A very kind lady put me onto the MELUNGEON idea the other day, and thought
it may be helpful to others. If you have ancestors who may have been Native
American, and you are having trouble finding them, you might want to check
