Does anyone know who Melinda Burch was? She was in Canaan township in
1860. She was most likely a widow. She was born in Virginia and made her
living by weaving. Orson Lewis and his wife, Catherine Townson, were
living with her. Orson was the son of my 4th great grandparents, Jonathan
Lewis and Nancy Randolph. I wondered if there might be a family connection
between my Lewis' or Catherine and Melinda.
