Roll Call: I have four primary families I am researching in Athens County,
but hundreds of secondary names. The Primary surnames are NORTH, DAVIS,
McLEAN and McCLAIN.
John NORTH b 1833 m. Lucy TINKHAM
- Lucy died in 1866, John remarried to Sarah Maris HARRIS in 1867
-John died in 1906 in Athens County
-His parentage is unknown to us
John DAVIS b @ 1854 m. Jane S.K. ELLIS
- John died in 1916 Athens County. Jane ELLIS DAVIS died in 1951

Adam McLEAN b @1866 in England?
- He was the First President of the Wellston Division of Coal Miners
(Union).
- m. Sarah Ann CARPENTER (she also went by WILSON)
**He died in 1899 but NO death record can be found. INFO NEEDED ON THIS
PERSON

Elijah McCLAIN b @1845 and m. Elizabeth COTTRELL
- died 1923 Athens State Hospital. Obit says wife died "a few years"
prior
children: Esther Ann McClain LEWELLYN, James "Linzy" McClain, Electa June
McClain MARKS, Cornelia D. McClain (don't know who she married), Charles
Curtis McCLAIN (My line).
- ANY INFO NEEDED on this family please!
