Subject: [OHATHENS ] Children's home -parental explanation
Date: Sun, 2 Mar 2003 17:46:32 EST
Pat, I haven't worked much on the children's home yet, but I wanted to
mention that the listing of the parents does NOT say that BOTH parents placed
them their. It is merely a note of who the parents were. Sometimes, both
parents were living, and placed them in the home. Sometimes both parents were
deceased, but still listed. the Register does not seem to indicate the status
of the parents as far as I can tell, unless it states that a parent got them
out. At least that's what I've derived from it so far. That probably doesn't
help you in any way, but I thought I'd make sure everyone knew that. :)
