Friends - The Ohio Historical Society has a website on which you can search
to find out if they have newspaper microfilm from the area and time for
which you are looking. Although it's not a complete collection, it's pretty
extensive and films can be borrowed via interlibrary loan for a nominal fee
(there is information on the site about how to do this). I've had good
success with this. The URL is as follows:
