Elaine McConnell. John and William R. Iiams were brother and the sons of
Thomas Iiams and Mercy Bonnell. My husband is the 2nd great grandson of
William which makes John his 2nd great grand uncle. I saw my original
posting on rootsweb and I knew that some one had entered the wrong
information. My husband years ago, went through all of the marriage records
in Mercer, Allen, Shelby, Auglaize counties finding all of the various
spelling of Iiams [Iams, Iiames, Imes, etc] Yes, we are related to John
Iiams who married 2nd Margaret Parlett. Thank you for answering my inquiry.
I wanted my information to be correct. I have over 42300 family in my Iiams
