to anyone,
I found my ancestor in the 1851 quad tax list
he was the last entry of 69
he was not on the listing for 1855

I need advice on where to look next

he sold his land in 1851 and I don't know where or where he went
the couple did have small children

I'd like to check for guardianship papers
if the wife died would there be a need for guardianship papers?
