Hi All,

I am new to the list and researching my husband's family. Everyone that could
provide information that we know of is deceased or out of contact. I hope
someone will recognize this family and be able to add additional info. A
couple of weeks ago we were visiting the Linwood Cemetery and noticed a grave
near the graves of my husband's grandparents. The name on it I believe was
Matthew Arkle. I don't know if there is a possible connection but would like
to know. We live in Virginia so are unable to do hands on research in Belmont
County. We are only able to visit graves once or twice a year on weekend
trips. Any help deeply appreciated!

1Isabelle Babb. Born 28 Apr 1914 ®65 in Ohio. Died 17 Feb 1985 in Westlake,
Cuyahoga County, Ohio. "Buried" 19 Feb 1985 in Hillcrest Crematory.

Isabelle's mother told Isabelle's son Lester that Isabelle had been married
and divorced prior to her marriage to Paul Hamm. Lester saw a newspaper
article that verified that but the name of the first husband is now unknown.
Isabelle never mentioned this prior marriage and apparently no children were
born to the union.

She married Paul Robert Hamm Jr..

2Lester Charles Babb. Born 24 Nov 1889 ®2 in Ohio. Died 9 Sep 1957 in
Barton, Belmont County, Ohio. Buried 11 Sep 1957 in Linwood Cemetery, Blaine,
Ohio. Occupation Retired Coal Miner (Motorman).

He married Alice Arkle.

3Alice Arkle. Born 7 Jan 1891 in Ohio. Died 30 May 1978 ®71 in Colerain,
Belmont County, Ohio. Buried 1 Jun 1978 in Linwood Cemetery, Blaine, Ohio.

4Charles Babb ®145. He married Irene Sillwell .

5Irene Sillwell ®146.
