Help

I have been looking for information on Ggrandmother and came to a
complete brick wall. I can't find anything on her before she married my
Ggrandfather on October 28, 1862 - according to his pension papers. I
have her death notice which has as the last sentence " Martins Ferry
and Sharon papers please copy. I found that they were in Sharon PA in
1870 so I'm beginning to think that she's from Martins Ferry. The only
facts I have are: Name Jane Hamil or Hammil
DD April 19,
1889 in Pittsburg PA

Their oldest son was named Thomas James Brown. I believe Thomas might
have be from her family while James is a name found in the fathers
family.

CAN ANYONE THINK OF A WAY I CAN FIND SOMETHING OUT ON HER?
