My Phoebe Starkey was born January 2, 1810 in Pennsylvania. I think she
might have been a daughter of a George Starkey, but just guessing.

As to kind of files. I am using Family Tree Maker 6.0 at the present time.
It is really easy for data entry, but I am finding it confining when it comes
to detailed research. My mother also does not like the way it prints a book
but haven't seen if other programs do it any differently.

I am not knowledgeable in receiving data in any form, but someone wrote me
last week on the steps I need to use, but haven't had time to practice so
give me a a little time to figure out.

Please tell me whether you think I fit or not. Have heard from several with
Phoebe in their data base, but married others and not Robinson Lappin. I am
sure she fits in the family, but sure is difficult to find. I am in contact
with another woman whose Starkey ancestor was also in Belmont Co., Ohio and
she is in the same boat as I.
