My great great grandparents, Elisha P. and Ruth Ann Frame NEWLIN, came to
Belmont County, Ohio sometime between 1850 and 1860; they appeared on the
1850 Chester County, PA census, and Ruth Ann was listed as the HOH in 1860,
on the Belmont County census. Elisha's family remained in Pa, and I have
always wondered what the reason was for Elisha and Ruth Ann to sell their
farm and mill in PA, and move to Ohio. Could it be that her parents had
already moved there? So, does anyone out there know of Frames in Belmont
County, prior to 1860, that could have been Ruth Ann's parents?
