Does any of the list members have the answer to this question?

"TRAVIS, James & HARRYMAN, Margaret on 14 Feb 1839 by Joseph Moose JP;
vo-Robert Luke; pg 45"

What does the "vo" mean? Robert Luke is my 3rd great-grandfather and the
brother-in-law to James Travis. Does it mean something like "vouched for" ?
I plan to go back to Belmont Co. as soon as the weather permits to try to
look at the original record but in the mean time it is driving me crazy.

And too, does anyone know what I can expect to find in the original record
other than what is in the index?
