Greetings,
In my ever frustrating quest to find my husband's
family, I have come up with some information which I
hope will help. My husband's grandmother ____Burkhart
Lucas, was the postmistress in Barnsville in the
1920's. Apparently it was a store/postoffice
combination. His mother, Anna Mae Lucas also worked
there. (that's also where she met his father, but
that's another whole story!!!) Her parents, had a
nursery/flower shop. If anyone knows anything about
any of these people, I would love even a tidbit.
