It is believed that Solomon DAVIES is the brother of my ggrandmo, Ann DAVIES EDWARDS. At this point, it is a guess-estimate that Solomon DAVIES and family lived in Belmont Co. while in the U.S.

Solomon DAVIES, born circa 1845 Neath, Glamorgan, Wales
Nellie - wife - born circa 1845 Neath, Glamorgan, Wales
Mary - dau - born circa 1866 Neath, Glamorgan, Wales
John P. - son - born circa 1868 Neath, Glamorgan, Wales
William - son - born circa 1871 in America
Francis - son - born circa 1873 Neath, Glamorgan, Wales
Maggie - dau - born circa 1875 in America
Annie - dau - born circa 1877 in America

This family is back in Neath, Glamorgan, Wales in 1881 per the 1881 British Census. Whether or not they returned to the U.S. later is unknown to me.
