In the 1850 Census in Center Township Monroe Co., Ohio Clarissa Truax is
listed in the home of Michael & Rebecca Flick. Clarissa is age 6. By 1860 census
Clarissa Truax is listed in Wayne Co., Illinois, as age 16 and again with
Michael & Rebecca Flick. In 1864 she wed William Tidd Graham in Wayne Co.
William T. Graham having been born in MOnroe Co. Clarissa's obit says she was born
in Woodsfield, Monroe Co., OH. By 1880 William and Clarissa have homesteaded
in Phillips Co., Kansas. William Tidd Graham, born in OH, father born in
Ireland, and mother born in South Carolina. These states remain the constant
answer until his death in 1912. Clarissa in 1880 was born in Ohio, with father
born in Ohio and mother born in PA. These states are the same as mentioned in
1900 before her death in 1901.

Michael Flick and his wife Rebecca were both born in PA as was a son Arthur,
born about 1831 in PA. Later children born in Ohio. It is possible that
Clarissa's mother was a Flick. Does anyone know anything about this family? Who
were the parents of William T. Graham? Was he the son of Thomas Graham,
listed in the 1850 census of Malaga Township, Monroe Co., Ohio and a first wife?
The ages of William in 1850 and 1860 do not agree with his stated birth date?
Who are the parents of Clarissa Truax? Again the old Monroe court house fire
and the Wayne Co., IL court house fire are making things difficult.

Any clues for these two families would be appreciated. They are not my
family, but were neighbors of all my families in Kansas and the connection is
driving me nuts.
