Two kind people responded to my request for a census lookup. The
information has helped reconstruct my family from Brown County. There
are still lots of questions, but what I learned also helped jog the
memories of my mother and my aunt. They were able to add to the census
information with stories told to them by their grandmother. Even though
her name was Julia, she apparently went by her middle name, Magdalena,
or Maggie for short.
I have greatly appreciated the acts of genealogical kindness of
strangers who have assisted me so much in the last few months. I hope
everyone has there genealogical desires come true.
