I have received many notes from those on the list encouraging
me to continue, so I will. A note of explanation first. This
project consists of articles where my family is mentioned.
I don't know until I copy to the list what other names are on
those pages. It is a surprise to me as well as to you.
I hope your family name appears.

Real Estate for Sale.
Will be offred for sale on the premises, on Tuesday the 22nd
of July 1828, between the hours of 10 o'clock a.m. and 4 p.m.,
34 acres of land situate on Whiteoak, in Pleasant Township
and County of Brown, containing a saw mill, fulling mill and
dye kettle, carding machine and the machinery and appurtenances connected
with said establishments; and the foundation of a
stone dwelling house. One-third of the purchase money will
be required in hand, one third in one year, and one-third in
two years; the purchaser will give notes with approved security
for the two last payments. The premises to be offered belong
to the heirs of THOMAS YOUNG, late of Brown County, deceased,
and will be sold pursuant to an order of the court of Common
Pleas, for one half of their appraised value.

Real Estate
By virtue of an Order of the Court of Common Pleas of Brown County, Ohio, I
will expose to sale upon the premises, on Saturday the 12th day of July
1828, 66 acres and 104 poles of land, part of CURTIS KENDALL's survey No.
2074, on Sterling's Fork of Whiteoak. The above is order to be sold as the
real estate of THOMAS E. ALLEN, deceased for payment of debts. One third of
the purchase money will be required in hand; one third in 12 months, and the
balance in 18 months; bond and security requred

Sheriff's Sale
15 Acres of land, adjoining the aforesaid one hundred acres,
beginning at a hornbeam, white ash and beech in the line of
ISAAC PRICKETT, and south east corner to the above 100 acres,
thence north 23 degrees west, 61 poles to a planted stone,
bearing from the centre of a large marked sycamore, south 78
degrees west, distance 20 links; then north 70 degrees east,
39.4 poles to a stone, central with a marked beech, sugar and
beech; thence south 23 degrees east 61 poles to three beeches
in the line of ISAAC PRICKETT; then with said line south 70
degrees west 39.4 poles to the beginning. (Each tract valued
at $5 per acre). Ordered to be sold on a writ of partition
filed by NIMROD ROBINSON against LUCY ROBINSON, et.al. Terms
of sale; one third in hand, one third in one year and the
balance in two years, securing the two last payments with bonds
and good security.
