Greetings:

Does anyone have information about the families of
Ulysses Grant's aunts and uncles? Family stories say
that my friend's gg grandmother was a first cousin of
Ulysses and that she lived in the same town as he
did. I don't know which family she belonged to, GRANT
or SIMPSON or one of the in-laws' families.

One possible name is NANCY GRANT. And she (whoever
she was) married a man named JESSIE LUARK. The Luarks
were in Nebraska by 1891 at least. They were later in
Yakima, Washington.

I've looked at several online genealogies for the Grant
family, but they don't seem to have complete
information about anyone but Ulysses and his direct
line. Has anyone worked on the rest of the family?

Any help will be appreciated.
