John,and his daughter,Mrs Moses Leonard,and Ignatius Ross, all bought
land at the same time in Sterling Twnsp,Brown Co,Oh [was then
Williamsburg
twnsp,Clermont Co.] They had been living-at least Moses Leonard and
Ignatius Ross-in Anderson Twnsp,Hamilton Co,NW Territory. [e
Cincinnati].
They had been neighbors in very sw Pa with Capt Benj Stites,and the other
pioneers of e Cincinnati's Columbia [Fort Miami].
One would think Ignatius hints at a Md Catholic birth [St Ignatius] for
Mr Ross.
Anderson,and his Wood wife are likely n e Md,and Moses Leonard-n e NJ.
Maybe?
