Subject: [OHBROWN] 1905 and 1918 Sardinia class pictures
Date: Wed, 20 Mar 2002 15:50:14 EST

I have my father's high school class picture (1918). There are about 45-50
people in the picture, about 3 or 4 male teachers. Can anyone tell me would
this be the total high school student body in Sardinia? Were all the high
school teachers male?

I also have a picture of my father's class in 1905. (My father, Roy LIST was
4 at the time.) He is by far the youngest looking one with some of the girls
appearing to be in their early teens, most of the boys appearing to be about
7-10. I assume this was also taken in Sardinia. At least it was taken in
Brown County. There are about 25 students, a man, and 2 ladies. Written on
the door behind the class: "Belle Hall tr. May ?, 1905." It is obvious which
one is Ms Hall, because she has the expression of looking proud of her
achievements. My aunt, who was about 3 years older than my father is suppose
to be in the picture, too. I would appreciate anything anyone could tell me
about school and class size in those years. I would like to know the kids
names, but that's asking for a lot. Does anyone have a Belle HALL in their
database?
