Subject: Murray's of Middletown circa 1875-1885

My grandfather, Peter Murray, and wife, Henrietta Thornell, had several
children two of which Mary B. and John Peter were born on 17 Sep 1875
and 18 Sep 1877 in Middletown, Ohio according to the birth records,
respectively. There were at least one or two other children born of
this marriage. The 1880 U.S. Census for Butler County, Middletown shows
Peter (age 31), Henrietta (25), Mary (5), John (3), and Nellie (8/12).
Since, both Mary and John were born in Middletown and Nellie is 8 months
old at the time of the census I would presume she too was born in
Middletown. A fourth child named Harvey born after 1880 is a mystery.

I would appreciate any information pertaining to this family that can be
gleaned from city directories, newspapers, and other sources. I am
especially interested in when and where Peter and Henrietta were married
and birth information regarding Nellie and Harvey. I am also seeking
information on a Clara Murray who was born of Peter, mother unknown.
