Hello, I am newly subscribed to the Butler County List. I have many family
links in the Butler, Brown, Clermont county area. In Butler specifically, I
am trying to find information on my FREEMAN line. Here is what I have leading
down to my grandmother:

George C. FREEMAN, b July 3, 1848, Pennsylvania; d July 3, 1902 in Butler Co.
married in Butler Co to Malinda MILLER b June 13, 1844 Clermont Co; d Feb 11
1934 Williamsburg, Clermont Co

Joseph Settle FREEMAN, b Nov 17, 1868, Butler Co.; d Jun 15, 1922 Brown Co.
married (where/when?) Emma Jane MALOTT, b Aug 12, 1872 Brown Co; d Apr 28,
1914 Brown Co.

Bertha Rose FREEMAN, b Mar 16, 1905, Eastwood, Brown Co., d Dec 1, 1989
Amanda, Fairfield Co. OH
m Dec 14, 1926 to William Ellison CAMPBELL, b Jul 27, 1902, Williamsburg,
Brown Co.; d Jan 6, 1963, Amanda, Fairfield Co.

My question is, does anyone have a link to this family? If so, I'm looking for
the town or county where George C. was born. Also, my grandmother always said
that her family was Pennsylvania Dutch. Does this mean mennonite? And which
side of the family was she talking about?...

Other names in my Miami Valley families are: Beacham, McNutt, Worthington,
Miller, Wilson, Campbell, Worstel, Malott, Freeman, Clapp, Donaldson, Sims,
Gray....

Also, Huntington's Chorea runs through some of these families. I've traced it
through the line's by noting death ages as the afflicted generally decease
before the age of 50 (with the exception of my grandfather who lived to be
61)...

I would love to hear from anyone who would like to compare notes on either
subject.
