I would suggest you check with with the Greenwood Cemetery Association, 1602
Greenwood Ave., Hamilton, OH 45011.
Greenwood was founded in the 1840s and is today, the 2nd largest cemetery in
SW Ohio. It is the Hamilton area's largest burying ground and they have
excellent internment records. Their records have never been published but
they have a data base with the burials abstracted. The actual internment
record films are at the Lane Public Library in Hamilton but you need to know
the internment number to locate the record (unless you know the date of
burial.)
The office staff of the cemetery is very cooperative.
You can also request a copy of the estate file (if there is one) from the
Butler County Records Center and Archives. They sometimes give clues as to
the burial location.

There is approximately a 4-6 week delay at the present time in processing the
requests due to the very high volume of requests received. They are processed
by volunteers, and there are only a few of us at the present time.
