Hello,
Welcome to the OHBUTLER-L mail list. Your message needs to be reposted using the address:
When it is sent to the subscribing address, it does not go to the entire list. A helpful hit for those who read it would be for you to include some dates for those names you included. If you don't know the dates, you can estimate them. That helps immensely when trying to locate any records.

I would like to subscribe to your Butler Co. newsletter. I am the grand daughter of Charles W. William Berry Craig was the son of John Craig and Jane Berry, Jane was the daughter of Thomas Berry and Hester Grey of Va. who later moved to OH. I have a copy of my grandmother's (Craig) sister's (Daisy Craig Bentil) DAR approved application. My family lineage seems to be impossible to be able to fill in any gaps, as well as the origin of lineage for Thomas Berry and Hester Grey. I find that there are many Craig's and Berry's but not related. Billingslea (grandfather) is also a blank. My father was William R. Billingslea, brother of Paul C. Billingslea and sister, Esther Billingslea. My mother was Gladys Rachel Williams, daughter of Benson Butler Williams and Beatrice Mae Snider, my father and mother were divorced while I was a young child. The list of family n!

es goes on with many blanks. Mother gave me several names while she was still living, as, she didn't want me to think "I was hatched in a tree (she had a delightful sense of humor)." I have been working steadily on the research through several various research avenues that are available. The LDS family search has been very helpful, as well as a very kind living Williams cousin residing in OH. - whose name I found posted on a message board. I am hoping that your newsletter will help in some way, as I wish to leave our family history for our children and their descendants, so that they might know the names of the members of their family and that they once "passed this way." And in addition, try to remember and honor the sacrifices that their ancestors readily gave and lived, so that we who were to follow, might achieve success in our endeavors in life. My e-mail address is . Thank you so very much. jj
