I want to thank everyone that responded to my Quiery on Jacob Schwab. I have
just started doing research on the Schwab's and the only information I have
so far is Henry Schwab my Great-Grandfather married Clara Gearhard the 28th
day of Sept. 1892 in Douglas Co. Nebr. In their marriage Certificate
information it stated that Henry Schwab was born in Butler Co. Ohio and his
father was Jacob Schwab and mother was Mary Snyder. In the 1900 Nebraska,
Douglas Co. census list's Henry Schwab born Nov. 1854. I might add that a
copy of the marriage certificate mentioned from Douglas Co., Nebr. cost me
.50 cents and that included postage compare that to some of the other county
clerks that get upward's of $15.00. The mention of using phone numbers in the
area of their residence on related surnames. I have done that in the past and
have had suscess. My celluar phone has 3500 minutes weekend anywhere and you
can call a lot of people for that.
