Kathryn,
One Robert Coddington b 1791 married 26 Jul 1832 Butler Co., OH to Isabella
Sinkey. Isabella Sinkey was dau/o John Sinkey, Sr. (1773 PA-10 Apr 1814
Butler Co., OH) and Mary Shields.
Mary Shields was sister of my ancestor, Patrick Shields.
They were children of my Irish immigrant ancestors, Daniel Shields & his
wife, Mary.
From my research, I find Mary (Shields) Sinkey married #2 1820 to a George
Freeman, probably in Butler Co., OH, but I don't know. I don't know when
Mary (Shields) Sinkey-Freeman died or where she was buried. I don't know
anymore about George Freeman.

Of the seven children of Daniel & Mary, Mary (Shields) Sinkey, the only
known daughter, was the only one who appears to have remained in the the
Butler Co., OH area. The rest of the family removed to Preble Co., OH and
the family spread out from there to Darke Co., OH and into IN.

Robert Coddington and Isabella Sinkey had 7 known children. I don't have
Isabella's birth date or place, death date or place, or burial place. I
don't have Robert's birthplace, death place or date, nor burial place, or
his parents' names.

I know that John Sinkey, Sr. was buried at the Amanda Cemetery, but I do not
know if other family members are buried there.

Kathryn...are you KEStuart, descended from James Shields, s/o Daniel & Mary,
who used to be at coshocton.com?

Audrey
