Hello, - I have done some Sauer research in relations to my Keller line. Looking through my notes I found this information: In the Birth records Vol. 3, :page 150 - Louis Carlton Stomps born 11/6/1886 to Louis and Elizabeth Sauer; page 51 - George Stomp born 7/27/1882 to Louis and Elizabeth Sauer; Vol. 4: page 78 - Ada Stomps born 9/1/1892 to Louis and Elizabeth Sauer; Vol. 5 pae 27 - Lawrence Stomps born 10/16/1894 to Louis and Elizabeth Sauer; Vol. 6 page 52 - Walter Enert Stomps 9/14/1900 to Louis and Elizabeth Sauer;
I have an obituary of Caroline Saurer (whh I have seen that name spelled a couple different ways)
March 10, 1927
Caroline Saurer, pioneer resident of Hamilton died while visiting her daughter Sophia Keller in Connersville, Indiana. She was resident of Hamilton for the past 75 years. On Jan. 1, 1858 she married Mathias Saurer. By this union she had 6 children, all survive. One daughter, Sophia Keller of Conn. Ind. Four sons, Wm., John, Mathias and Louis of Hamilton and one son Henry of New Jesy. Two sisters, Mrs. Sophia Bridge of Franklin and Katherine Ritz of Newark, Del. and one brother Louis Issenmenger, besides 13 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Funeral services at the home of son Louis Saurer, 430 ,Evin Ave, Hamilotn, Pastor of Grace Methodist Church Officiating.
Mathais Saurer was born 1827 Germany, died 1896 Hamilton, OH. Married Caroline Issenmenger 1/1/1858
It was their daughter Sophia Sauer that married Frank Keller, and their son William who married Tillie Keller. The two Kellers are somehow related to my Grandfather Albert Keller but so far its uncertian how. (Family secret...brick wall).
These Saurers may not be relted to yours but thought I would put it out there anyhow. Good luck in search.

Hello everyone,
wanted to thank everyone again for the VERY helpful suggestions. I really
ppreciate it.
ouple people suggested maybe I share more info about my family from Hamilton.
his is what I know as I am on the beginner level.
y great-grandfather, Henry Huber was born approx. 1862 to a T. Huber and M.
uber (can't find their first names). He married Mary Biddinger Morner (her
irst husband was Jacob Morner) in the later 1800's. She died in 1912. Mary
ad a least one child with Jacob Morner. And with her second husband, Henry
uber they had a least two children (Rose and Edmund Huber). Henry Huber owned
bar in Hamilton but apparently was washed away in the flood of 1913.
y grandfather, Edmund Huber married Alberta Stomps and they had two children.
y grandfather, Edmund Huber also worked at Armco as a pattern maker. But not
ure what years.
lberta Stomps parents were Louis Stomps and Elizabeth Sauer. Louis Stomps died
n approx 1918 in the County home???? (would I be able to find any info about
hat for sure). Elizabeth Sauer Stomps died in 1945.
pparently some relatives of mine owned the Stomps-Burkhardt chair company - I'm
hinking maybe this was located in Dayton??
lso, Gustave Stomps and Anna Stomps were my relatives.
s there a history museum in Hamilton I can visit?
f I visited any of the churches in Hamilton would they have any info for me?
've got a little more info, but I'm just trying to piece it together.
sincerely appreciate everyone's help and I can see I need to do some prep work
efore I go in the next two and a half weeks.
