Searching for information on the WHITEFORD family of Carroll Co.

Kezia WHITEFORD b. abt. 1810, m. John RICE 5 Mar 1829, Jefferson Co., OH.
John RICE Jr. is the son of John and Rebecca RICE of Carroll Co. Prior to
1830, John RICE Sr. was living in Jefferson Co. He may have been from Rices
Landing, Greene Co., PA.

John and Kezia RICE were living in Carroll Co., Lee twp. in 1830. In 1844,
they moved to Pike Co., OH, where Kezia died 7 Mar 1848, buried in Scioto
Cemetery, Pike Co.

In the 1850 census, Carroll Co., Lee twp., a Mariah WHITEFORD, age 7, born
OH, is living with John RICE (age 76) and Rebecca (age 77), both born MD.
Also in the household is a Thomas WHITE, age 40, born OH.

In the will of John RICE Sr. (probated 1858), now living in Brown twp,
Carroll Co., he leaves a share of his estate to Rebecca WHITEFORD and Mariah
WHITEFORD (would be age 15). I do not know how these two women are related
to John RICE.

Is anyone working on the WHITEFORD family in this area?
