To Carol and any Downs or Stewart researchers out there.

Found in a local (gossip) column of the Carroll Free Press, Thursday, Nov 9.,
1905.

"Burt A. Downs, a son of ex-Sheriff Downs, has been sued for divorce by Kitty
L. Downs, who charges extreme cruelty and desertion. The action is brought in
common pleas court at Canton."

Could this be why the Christina L. Downs, daughter, mentioned in Hugh
Wilson's will later became Catherine Stewart of Cleveland mentioned in her
siblings obits?

Does any one know anything about ex-Sheriff Downs or Mr. Stewart?
