Just to remind those that this is not a complete list because I know of
at lest one more that is not listed, and that is my great-grandfather, Henry
Ball, Jr. from Leesville, who served with the 11th Ohio Volunteer Calvary,
2nd Battalion, F Cmpany. The 11th OVC 1st Bat. was formed from the 7th OVC
and the 2nd Bat. was formed when Morgan's Raiders started their raid into
Indiana and Ohio. This Battalion chased Morgan's Raiders and sent them
running for the hills of Kentuckey to hide. After this they where sent out
West to keep the peace with the Indians, but ending up fighting with them.
Also they protected the Pacific Telegraph Line. Winfred R. Ball at
