I have a Daniel Simmons born about 1820 in Loudon twp., Carroll Co., OH.
His father was Jacob Simmons, one of the Simmons brothers that were the
first to settle in Carroll Co., OH. I do not know who Daniel married but it
could be your Daniel. Jacob and his family moved to Iowa in the fall of
1853.

I also have Jacob's brother John. I do not know of any of his children, so
Daniel could have been his also.
