I am interested in learning more about the JAMES TOLAND family. He was
born in 1806 and married Elizabeth Krebs (Crabbs). Their children are
listed as Thomas, David H. b. 1835, Isaac, Andrew M, Madison D., James,
Hattie, George W. and William. Also listed in Carrol Co is an Asberry Tolan.

I am the GGGrandaughter of David (b. abt. 1833) and Amanda TOLIN of
Alabama. They had many names in common with this family. Their children
were William H. (notice middle initial of David of 1835), Mary, David and
ASBERRY Timothy b. 1865. William H. had a son named Thomas (after above
listed uncle?).

I have not been able to connect these families together, but there seems to
be a lot of coincidences. Would appreciate any help from anyone who knows
something about these people. Thank you.
