In order to have your family listed in the "First Familes of Carroll County" you must be a member of the Carroll County Genealogical Society, fill out a first family application, with documention of each generation, marriage records, wills, land records, census and etc. a application fee of $12.00 is required. Upon completing the application and submitting it for judging, then the application is place in a notebook for the public to use. The documents and other papers are filed and kept by the society.
